To promote the welfare of the people in the SAARC region by enhancing their quality of life, accelerating economic growth, social progress, and poverty alleviation through efficient identification, financing, and implementation of regional projects. Since our inception in April 2010, headquartered in Thimphu, Bhutan, we have been committed to promoting regional integration and progress. Through our three funding windows—Social, Economic, and Infrastructure—we have approved over 90 projects that span a variety of sectors, each contributing to sustainable development and regional cooperation. Each year, we embark on new ventures, cultivate partnerships, and fund projects reinforcing our position as a regional umbrella-funding institution. With the unwavering support of our valued partners, we navigate the complex landscape of regional development, delivering tangible benefits to people across the SAARC region through project-based collaboration.
